Lucia (Lulu) Bell

An ambitious young professional, Lucia believes that the government should be citizen centric, accessible to all and that the practice of political self-determination should be celebrated.

Interested in comprehensive public policy that achieves good outcomes, Lucia completed her Masters in Public Policy in early 2026, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Political Science and International Relations, minoring in Sociology from the University of Canterbury.

While studying she held volunteer roles for United Nations Youth and has worked as a campaign contributor for National during the 2023 General Election advocating for students across Ōtautahi to vote and get their voice heard.

Lulu, has been a lifeguard for many years down in the Coromandel patrolling the beaches for many summers across Whiritoa, Waihi, and Whangamata. And, was once a competitive surf lifesaver and swimmer, getting outdoors and keeping active is necessary to Lulu in keeping her work life balance in check.
